German industry supports Ursula von der Leyen’s ambition to enhance Europe’s competitiveness. As BDI, we are convinced that to boost prosperity and competitiveness while reducing greenhouse gas emissions, the potential of digital technologies must be leveraged. To achieve this goal, we urge the Commission to implement our policy recommendations in the areas AI, digital infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, key technologies and digital skills.
