BDI welcomes the European Commission's proposal for the Data Governance Act to promote the increased re-use of public data, the voluntary exchange of data by intermediaries, data altruism and interoperability and standardisation measures. In order to achieve a positive effect for the European data economy, the discussion should be focussed on legal certainty and practicable implementation for companies in the further legislative process.
