By car

From the direction of Hanover/Nuremberg, take the A115 highway, exit 10 - Kaiserdamm-Süd B5 - Bismarckstraße, Ernst-Reuter-Platz, Straße des 17. Juni, turn right onto Ebertstraße until Potsdamer Platz, turn left onto Leipziger Straße (later Gertraudenstraße), turn left onto Breite Straße

From Dresden: A113 highway, Exit 1 - Treptow B96a - Adlergestell, turn right after Treptower Park / turn left at Elsenbrück into Stralauer Allee / Stralauer Straße, turn left into Mühlendamm, turn right into Breite Straße

From Hamburg/Rostock: Take the A111 or A100 highway, exit 8 – Kaiserdamm B5 – Bismarckstraße (for further directions, see the route from Hanover/Nuremberg)

From Frankfurt/Oder: Take the A12 to the A10 to the Schönefeld interchange, then take the A113 (for further directions, see the route from Dresden)

Bus and Train

From Berlin-Brandenburg Airport, take the Airport Express or various regional trains to the Alexanderplatz stop, then see “From Alexanderplatz”

From the main train station, take bus 147 toward Eichenstraße/Puschkinallee to the Fischerinsel stop, or take the U5 to the Museumsinsel stop

From Alexanderplatz, either take bus M 48 to the Fischerinsel stop, or bus 248 toward U Breitenbachplatz to the Fischerinsel stop, or the U2 subway toward Potsdamer Platz to the Märkisches Museum stop

From Ostbahnhof, take bus 147 toward Hauptbahnhof to the Fischerinsel stop
