Energy Diversity – How can Europe turn its different energy concepts into a coherent strategy?
Europe is a continent of diversity, not last with regards to its energy policies. Energy production, supply and demand are structured very differently from region to region. For the self-imposed ambitions to climate neutrality, this diversity can be a disadvantage, and it may affect Europe’s competitiveness vis-à-vis the other large economic areas of the world. On the other hand, the different approaches might be turned into an asset, making Europe more resilient. How can Europe turn its different energy concepts into a coherent strategy?
