Dr. Martin Fensch heads Governmental Affairs & Strategic Partnerships for Europe and Canada at Daiichi Sankyo, a pharmaceutical company headquartered in Japan. The company specializes in innovative medicines in the fields of oncology and cardiovascular diseases. With a background in journalism and more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Fensch focuses on building teams and external relationships while fostering a culture of diversity and trust. Before joining Daiichi Sankyo in 2022, he held various national and international leadership positions at Pfizer in the areas of policy, communications, management, and business. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Philosophy and is the author of the book “News and Fake News on Vaccination.” Dr. Fensch regularly teaches public relations at ESCP Business School and is an active member of “Vision Zero in Oncology” as well as a mentor at Schotstek, a network for young talent with immigrant backgrounds.
