Volker Krug has been Chief Executive Officer of Deloitte Germany since June 1, 2020. He is a certified public accountant and a US Certified Public Accountant.

His career at Deloitte has spanned the Audit and Financial Advisory practice areas. Volker Krug has advised international private equity firms and corporations on cross-border transactions in Germany and the U.S. For four years, he was responsible for key strategic projects for the global Deloitte organization in the Global CEO’s office.

Volker Krug’s areas of expertise include due diligence, business valuations, carve-outs, and refinancing in the context of corporate transactions. Until his appointment as CEO, he was a member of Deloitte’s global Automotive Leadership Team and led projects for leading German and international automakers and automotive suppliers.
