Born on May 26, 1987, in Langenhagen; Protestant Lutheran; married and the father of one child. After graduating from the Europaschule Gymnasium Bad Nenndorf in 2006, he spent a year abroad in New Zealand from 2006 to 2007. He then studied law at the University of Osnabrück from 2007 to 2013 and passed the first state law examination. His legal clerkship followed from 2014 to 2016 at the Higher Regional Court of Celle, where he passed the second state law examination.

From 2016 to 2021, he worked as in-house counsel and as Head of Legal Affairs and Sustainability at the Unternehmerverbände Niedersachsen e.V. At the same time, he was active in politics: From 2014 to 2019, he served as state chairman of the Junge Union of Lower Saxony; from 2019 to 2022, he served as federal chairman of the Junge Union of Germany and as a member of the CDU Federal Executive Committee. He is also a member of the CDU District Executive Committee of Hannover Land and the CDU Regional Executive Committee of Hannover, and serves on the Barsinghausen City Council.

He has been a member of the German Bundestag since October 2021. There, he serves on the Committee on Economic Affairs and the Committee on European Union Affairs, and acts as deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (PKM). Furthermore, he is a member of the Commission for Social Responsibility of the Lower Saxony Football Association and a member of the Board of Trustees of the DFB Egidius Braun Foundation.
