Dr. Jörg Stratmann has served as Chairman of the Board of Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG and a member of the Rolls-Royce Group Executive Team since mid-November 2022. In leading the company’s transformation from an engine manufacturer to a provider of integrated and sustainable propulsion technologies and energy solutions, he draws on his extensive experience gained over decades of international management roles.

Born in 1969, the industrial engineer studied and earned his doctorate at the Technical University of Berlin, gained international management experience in the U.S., Italy, Romania, and Germany at SIEMENS, and held leadership positions at the automotive supplier MAHLE, most recently as CEO.

As CEO with a strong analytical and networked mindset, Dr. Jörg Stratmann is driving the current major transformation processes within the Rolls-Royce Group and implementing strategic decisions. He possesses in-depth expertise in the areas of technology, sales, marketing, and industrialization, as well as comprehensive international market knowledge and excellent relationships with our
global business partners.
