Antje von Broock

Ms. Antje von Broock is an expert in environmental protection and currently heads the Department of Circular Economy, Air Pollution Control, and Chemical Safety at the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, and Nuclear Safety.

She holds a master’s degree in political science and communication studies, which she earned at the universities of Göttingen, Rennes (France), Berlin, and Potsdam. Over the course of her professional career, she has held a wide variety of positions. She served as head of the regional office of a Member of the European Parliament and worked at BUND for Environment and Nature Conservation Germany e.V. There, she began as a policy officer for international climate policy, soon took over as head of the climate policy department, and eventually became executive director.
