This keynote address will outline how NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) is fostering and protecting dual-use innovation and driving adoption of new technological solutions for armed forces. DIANA has accelerated 118 companies from across the Alliance in its first two years of operations, including participation of German start-ups. Lt Gen (Ret.) Dr Gyllensporre will share successes and lessons learned from DIANA’s challenge programs, outline DIANA’s open door policy for start-up applications, and advise on the competitive selection process and benefits of participation.
