In recognition of the pressing need to enhance overall competitiveness in the life sciences ecosystem, consisting of established companies of all sizes as well as start-ups and scientific organizations across Europe, the European Life Sciences Business Alliance has been established as a comprehensive and equal partnership. Formed by the leading European business federations — BDI, Confindustria, DI, MEDEF and IV —this alliance aims to encompass the entire life sciences sector across Europe, fostering research, technology and innovation as well as cross sectoral cooperation within Europe and a correspondingly aligned EU policy.
