BDI welcomes the planned expansion of the “Green List” under the EU Waste Shipment Regulation. The initiative represents an important step towards reducing administrative barriers and strengthening a well-functioning European single market for circular economy raw materials. Its success will depend on a technology-neutral approach that recognizes not only established recycling processes but also innovative recycling technologies, thereby supporting investments in future recycling capacities and circular value chains.
