Markus Bangen studied law at the University of Bonn, specializing in transport and European law. He worked as a lawyer in 2000 in San Francisco. In 2000, he joined duisport holding the roles of Chief Legal Officer and Head of HR. He was appointed as a member of the Executive Board in 2008 and has held the position of Chief Executive Officer since 2021.
