Johanna Hasting is an expert at the intersection of politics, healthcare, and industry, with over 15 years of experience in strategy, legislation, and stakeholder engagement.

After completing her studies in economics and European public policy, she managed the offices of various Members of the European Parliament before joining the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, where she held various leadership roles. Johanna Hasting subsequently served as a parliamentary advisor on health policy for the FDP/DVP parliamentary group in the Baden-Württemberg state parliament.

In 2023, she joined GE HealthCare to establish the Government Affairs & Policy Germany division; since 2025, she has been responsible for the entire DACH region, where she is driving the digital transformation in healthcare and advocating for the successful integration of innovative medical technologies and data-driven solutions into clinical practice.

Johanna Hasting serves as a board member of the Health Industry Association within ZVEI e.V. and as the head of a focus group on investment cost financing at BVMed e.V.
