Aufgrund der guten Entwicklung in der ersten Jahreshälfte rechnet der BDI für das gesamte Jahr 2026 mit einem BIP-Wachstum um 1,0 Prozent. Das Wachstum wird vor allem gestützt durch den Außenhandel sowie den staatlichen Ausgaben für Infrastruktur und Verteidigung. Der Private Konsum steigt kaum. Die Investitionsschwäche hält weiter an.

Die deutsche Wirtschaft ist mit einem Mini-Wachstum in das Jahr 2026 gestartet. Es gab etwas Belebung beim Privaten Konsum. Die Bauinvestitionen gaben witterungsbedingt kräftig nach, während Investitionen in Ausrüstungen und sonstige Anlagen zulegen konnten.
