    Jochen Köckler graduated in Agricultural Economics from the University of Bonn and received his doctorate in 1999. In the same year, he started his professional career, holding the positions of Managing Director of the European Pig Producer and Project Manager of EuroTier. He then took over as Managing Director of the German Agricultural Society’s (DLG) Exhibitions Department and became Deputy CEO of DLG in 2008. In 2012, he was appointed to the Management Board of Deutsche Messe AG.
