Dr. Martin Klein

Martin Klein is the Global General Manager for Public Services Industries of SAP SE. In this role he is responsible for the company’s overall strategy for this industry cluster, oversees the global business in the sector, directs product and solution roadmaps, leads go-to-market activities, and works closely with the partner ecosystem.

Martin joined SAP in 2002 and has served in several management roles in business development, corporate strategy, and business operations. Before joining SAP, he worked in consulting and business development.

He holds a master’s degree in business administration and a doctorate in technology management from the University of Mannheim, incorporating studies in the UK, Norway, and the US. Martin is member of the Board of Germany’s Near- and Middle East Association (NUMOV e.V.) and member of the Scientific Advisory Board to the Metropolregion Rhein-Neckar. From 2020 to 2022 he was member of the BDI expert group “Modern Government”.
