Tore Prang
Tore Prang heads the External Affairs and Communications division at Aurubis AG. Aurubis is Europe’s largest copper producer and the world’s largest multi-metal recycler. His work focuses on critical raw materials, the circular economy, and how metals enable industrial transformation.
His career path led him to Aurubis via two formative positions: At Heraeus, the global technology group specializing in modern high-performance materials, he was responsible for global communications, marketing, and public affairs—with a focus on precious metals, semiconductor materials, and rare earths. At Airbus, he gained international experience in various senior communications roles, most recently as VP of Communications Strategy, Product Communications, Branding, and Advertising.
In his current role, he brings industry perspectives to European and international policy processes—including the G7 and EU industrial policy. Tore Prang studied economics at the University of Hamburg and holds an MBA from the Hamburg School of Business Administration.
