Dr. Stephanie Willmann is the Country Director Germany for Rolls-Royce, also covering Austria and Switzerland, and based in Berlin.

In 2011 Dr. Stephanie Willmann joined Rheinmetall Group and held various management positions within External & Government Relations at International, EU and NATO level.

Dr. Willmann is originally an economist and social scientist. After her Master’s degree from SAIS Johns Hopkins in International Affairs and International Economics, she earned her doctorate in International Relations studying at the Universities of London (War Studies Dept.), Oxford and Cologne.

Dr. Willmann taught as a senior lecturer at the Military Academy of Sandhurst before obtaining a fellowship at Harvard University where she was part of the “Means of Intervention Project” at the Kennedy School of Government.

The Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) in Belgium, the KFOR Commander in Kosovo as well as the Bundeswehr Transformation Center - where she served in the Department for Strategic Foresight - were preceding steps in her career.

From 2015 until January 2021 Dr. Willmann was also the Chairwoman of the Committee on International and European Affairs of the German defense industry association BDSV. She lives with her family in Berlin
