Rama Afullo is the Founder & CEO of Satlyt, a U.S.-based startup pioneering fast and secure AI-driven edge computing in space. Satlyt transforms satellites into virtual data centers through a software-only network, enabling operators to monetize space resources, reduce latency, increase data sovereignty, and curb emissions. A Kenyan mechanical and space systems engineer, Rama brings over a decade of experience from Tesla, Google, and SpaceX, where he worked on energy systems, global cloud and AI partnerships, and satellite communications. He is building Satlyt at the intersection of space and AI to open a new era of infrastructure and innovation.
