Prof. Dr. Ulrich Hermann is Operating Partner at Seraphim Space, Managing Director at Seraphim Space Europe, and Founder and Managing Partner of Einstein Space Consulting.

He has extensive leadership experience in the information solutions, industrial and start-up sectors, with a strong focus on digital transformation. His expertise lies in guiding companies from challenging situations into profitable growth models, closely tied to disruptive shifts such as the rise of the Internet and today’s transformation through the Internet of Things (IoT).<br< <br> As a member of the Executive Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, he served as Chief Digital Officer, Head of Global Sales & Services, Software and IT, overseeing €1.2 billion in revenues. He pioneered the Machine as a Service model in the industry, founded the Heidelberg Digital Unit, and significantly increased profitability. Previously, he spent more than a decade as CEO of Wolters Kluwer Germany and Central Europe, where he led the transformation from a declining print business into a digital information and software provider with predominantly recurring revenues.

Ulrich Hermann is a mechanical engineer who began his career at Bertelsmann. Since 2017, he has been Honorary Professor for Digital Transformation and Digital Leadership at Allensbach University, Konstanz.
