Artificial intelligence is intensifying existing cyber threats while also creating new opportunities for cyber defence. The BDI outlines how the EU Action Plan can effectively strengthen Europe’s cyber resilience. This requires robust AI, testing and security capabilities, practical implementation without additional regulation, a strong German AISI, and the mutual recognition of international cybersecurity standards.
