Kathleen O’Brien has worked in the energy industry for over 25years. She is currently the Senior Vice President Innovation and CTO ofSiemens Energy where she is responsible for the development and implementation of the Siemens Energy global innovation strategy. Prior to her current role, Kathleen spent 15 years in Energy technology leadership roles with General Electric. She has experience in innovation strategy, energy technologies, grid technologies, and renewable energy policy. Kathleen holds a doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Dresden University of Technology, Germany.
