Overview of regulatory acts and institutions
Since the enactment of the Chinese Cybersecurity Law in 2017, the Chinese state has developed an extensive
regulatory framework on cybersecurity, data usage and data protection. Companies doing business in China and
especially those generating data in China have to be compliant with these requirements.
During our first session, Jihong Chen (Partner, Zhong Lun Law Firm) will inform about the major institutions that are responsible for the development and implementation of China's digital regulatory acts. In addition, Tiffany Wong (Head of Cybersecurity and Digital Policy, Sinolytics GmbH) and Dr Jost Wübbeke (Managing Partner, Sinolytics GmbH) will provide an overview of the regulatory acts.
